Where are the wedding and reception?

Updated March 2, 2010: After viewing at least 10 venues (!) and debating pros and cons, we've finally decided on... The Berkeley Church!

The Berkeley is an old church that has been converted into an event venue with a unique vibe. It is suitable for both a wedding ceremony and reception. Just the sort of thing that we were looking for. The staff are very attentive and allow couples to add lots of personal touches.

So where is it? On Queen Street East, between Sherbourne and Parliament. So that's east of Yonge Street (and the Eaton Centre) and west of the Don Valley Parkway.

The closest subway station is Queen. You can walk from there (about 15 minutes), take the famous Queen streetcar (for about $3), or take any one of a thousand taxis patrolling the area.
